Ethority conducted a recent study about how German online users reflect the ongoing negotiations between the three participated German parties CDU/CSU, Die Gruenen and the FDP to built a new German government under the leadership of Chancellor Angela Merkel. The parties have reached the end of the coalition talks and meet with strong speculations and discussion on the Web. Her are the tredning topics:
-
Politician: Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) dominates, Christian Lindner (FDP) is very strong, Kretschmar (Die Gruenen) comes from nowhere up to 5%.
-
Parties: “Die Gruenen” got most positive mentions from online community.
-
Trend: “Die Gruenen” and FDP with more than 50% of the sympathy values on the net.
See my video report (German) from Berlin:
Since Saturday, the interest of the citizens has risen explosively and has made itself felt in contributions, comments, articles and press releases. But who benefited? How do people on the net judge the politicians and the parties? Ethority has analyzed ad hoc all areas of the web and the social web with its opinion analysis technology DataChamp24.
The results show a very differentiated picture compared to the general election and present surprising values.
Which party is best perceived?
Which politician earns the most mentions/social buzz & interactions?
